Vodavi Communication Systems and Comdial were purchased by Vertical Communications in 2006. This purch ase of Vodavi Communic ations allows Vertical Communications to take Vodavi to a whole new level. As a result of the buyout, LG Electronics purchased and continues to own a percentage of Vertical Communication. In 2010, with the release of new telecommunication products, Vertical has incorporated technology which allows previous models of end-points (telephones) to work with the newly released telecommunication platforms. This product strategy allows for a much lower cost migration to a new telephone system platform.
